Introduction
Hello! This is the creative process of how I created these captioned, Contact Sheets. This idea came to me because I've been recording a lot of videos using my Sony Handycam ever since I purchased it from Facebook Marketplace for $50 and wanted to display what I recorded in an image format for Instagram while retaining the charm of the nostalgic, camcorder aesthetic.
Inspiration
For a while I didn't know the specific term for the style I wanted to replicate. I knew I wanted to display a captioned image with equally segmented frames from each video. I drew inspiration from movie quotes displaying quotes between frames.
